Sirsa Police Arrest Another Accused Vehicle Snatching Case, Recovery of Pickup Truck Strengthens Case
Sukveer stated that Suresh Kumar a driver from Chilkani Dhaba, was operating his pickup vehicle. On November 27, 2024, at around 7:30 PM, the driver loaded vegetables onto the pickup truck and started his journey from Chilkani Dhaba towards Ellenabad.
The Sirsa district police, under its special campaign against crime and criminals, has successfully apprehended another accused involved in the recent hijacking of a pickup vehicle in the Poharka area of the Rania region. The Ellenabad police team carried out the operation, and the accused is currently being interrogated. Following the questioning, he will be presented in court and subsequently sent to jail.
Driver Was Transporting Vegetables to Ellenabad
According to Ellenabad Police Station in-charge, the arrested individual has been identified as Vinod Kumar, son of Rajendra Kumar, a resident of Madhosinghana village in Sirsa district. The case originated when Sukveer Singh, son of Daulat Ram from Chaiya village in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, filed a complaint.
Sukveer stated that Suresh Kumar, a driver from Chilkani Dhaba, was operating his pickup vehicle. On November 27, 2024, at around 7:30 PM, the driver loaded vegetables onto the pickup truck and started his journey from Chilkani Dhaba towards Ellenabad.
Police Recover Hijacked Pickup Vehicle
During the journey, the driver called Sukveer, informing him that three young men on a motorcycle intercepted the pickup truck and hijacked it. Acting on the complaint, the Ellenabad Police Station registered a case of hijacking and initiated an investigation.
The police team had earlier arrested three accused involved in the case and successfully recovered the hijacked pickup vehicle. During the interrogation of the latest accused, Vinod Kumar, the police also recovered the motorcycle used in the crime.
The station in-charge stated that after completing the questioning, the arrested youth would be presented in court and sent to judicial custody.
